Cornerstone University is for whosoever … the new Christian, the seasoned believer, the young, the old, the wanderer, the one in need, the Truth seeker … no one is excluded.
The topics in Cornerstone University are thoughtfully and prayerfully considered to fill the needs of the Congregation that may never be addressed in depth from the pulpit. These classes are for your spiritual and natural enrichment. The small group setting allows you to ask questions, participate in discussion and develop relationships.
All Cornerstone University classes are free of charge and are open to all adults! (Some classes may have books/workbooks available for purchase in the Cornerstone Bookstore.)
The Blood Covenant
by Malcolm Smith | Teacher: Paula Moody | Sundays, 8:45 AM | Classroom A
When you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you receive the power of His blood that seals your redemption from sin and your future in heaven. But there is much more to this agreement with Almighty God. It is a sacred covenant that goes beyond what most believers have ever dreamed of. The blood covenant not only seals your eternal destiny, but it can open up a new world of faith and adventure like you’ve never known!
Bodily Healing and the Atonement
by Dr. T. J. McCrossan | Teacher: Greg Kiser | Sundays, 8:45 AM | Classroom B
This in-depth study clearly proves to believers that Christ died for their sicknesses just as He died for their sins. It is a welcome antidote to any uncertainty one would have regarding God’s will for healing, and Dr. McCrossan deals effectively with the false teachings that claim that redeemed Christians can’t expect healing from God. If you know someone who is battling with long term illness, Bodily Healing and the Atonement will inspire your faith to go and heal like Jesus did.
Teacher: Vanessa Pugh | Sundays beginning March 12, 8:45 AM | Classroom D
Pilgrims sang psalms as they travelled to and worshipped at the great Jewish festivals. These psalms of ascent give the believer a new appreciation for the life of faith, a life that journeys toward a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Learn from the Scriptures the importance of offering praise and thanksgiving to God, and how our fellowship with the Lord is enriched as we respond to His grace with passionate worship.
The Prayer of Protection
by Joseph Prince | Teacher: Jan Paquette | Sundays, 8:45 AM | Classroom E
We live in dangerous times: times of conflict, violence and wars. Terrorism, epidemics and natural disasters are happening all too often. But there is good news for the believer. God has given us a powerful prayer of protection – Psalm 91 – through which we and our families can find safety and deliverance from every snare of the enemy. Discover how to live life without fear as you put your trust in His promise of protection.
Discipling Through Galatians
by Andrew Wommack | Teacher: Paula Moody | Thursdays, 10:30 AM | Classroom A
The truths in Paul’s letter to the Galatians have reformed the church, sparked revival and brought the unadulterated Gospel to the forefront once again. There is no other book that has changed so many lives as Galatians has. It was written to an early church that was struggling with the question, “How is man made right with God?” This verse-by-verse commentary is a must have for one’s library, as well as a valuable instrument in helping believers to take the insight of God’s grace to others.
