We believe that local church membership is a vital part of God’s plan for the life of every believer. It is a commitment of mutuality by the individual or family and the commitment, in turn, by the church to your spiritual development. It has been our experience to see believer flourish as Christians only in the setting of the local church. We have consistently seen the converse of that fact to be true as well.
At Cornerstone, an eight week membership course is offered regularly throughout the year. These classes are taught, most often, by Pastor Barry. It gives the prospective members more personal contact with him, as well as a more in depth look into what Cornerstone is all about. Attendance at these classes is a requirement for church membership at Cornerstone.
